Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford hung up his boots in the dating game after he popped the question to his high school sweetheart, Lucia Loi.

The attacker, who’s had a forgettable season with the Red Devils, took to social media to unveil the setting of the epic proposal he made while on holiday in California US.
The couple stood on a bed of white roses and surrounded by giant rosey heart, sparkles and candles.
The unveiling, Rashford made on Wednesday, but from what we understand, the couple got engaged on Tuesday 24 May 2022.
“They went out in LA for a romantic night together on Tuesday and he proposed. It was extremely romantic. They celebrated afterwards with a group of close friends — including his United teammate Jesse Lingard,” a source told Daily Mail.

She’s been dating Rashford for nine years, Loi met and fell in love with Rashford at Ashton on Mersey, a secondary school in Greater Manchester, when the pair was 15 years old.
She went to high school with her brother
Lucia has one sibling, a brother named Alex Loi who, just like Rashford, went to Ashton on Mersey School.
Her mother is a philanthropist
Lucia’s mother, Victoria Loi, has dedicated her senior life to philanthropy. Recently, she and her daughter raised £565 (est. R11 180) to “provide food for Sri Lankan’s during COVID-19.”
She has a marketing background Loi enjoys a prosperous career in the PR industry. Before then, Loi worked as marketing intern at Pretty Little Thing and Social Chain Agency.
She’s a Manchester Metropolitan University graduate
Loi completed a three-year course in Advertising and Brand Management in 2020.
