Mzansi’s exotic dancer Zodwa Wabantu is known for ruffling feathers and stirring the crowd with her saucy dance moves and barely-there clothing.
Over the last few months, the entertainer has been taking a different route as she undergoes her ancestral journey.
In fact, the star was accused of ducking and diving event organizers after not pitching for shows – something she says is a result of the journey.
Now Zodwa has headed online to share that if she has to choose, she will choose her ancestors over fame.
Zodwa Wabantu shocked fans when she first revealed that she was taking a spiritual journey with her ancestors.
Many couldn’t believe the woman who became famous for flaunting her curves was now looking at becoming a traditional healer.
It appears she is as serious as ever and recently took to her Instagram to share that if she had to choose between her ancestral journey and the fame she has attained, she would 100% choose her ancestors.
Sharing a snap of herself with a 133-year-old horn which she explains belonged to her great great great father, she wrote:
“I’m Choosing Idlozi. I’m Very Wealthy:writing_hand: Ngiyikosazana yasebukhosini. Under Amahlubi Clan. Inkosi imina:crown: Fame is nothing to me,compared to what I am & becoming. This Horn is 133 years old. Belonged to my Great Great Great Father. Soft life for Life. Ungajahi:joy:Angilahli mina:the_horns::skin-tone-5: To Izitha ZAM,”
